Early Life Of Tekno
Augustine Miles Kelechi widely known as Tekno hails from Ivo Local Government in Ebonyi State, Nigeria.
The singer was born in Bauchi State into a family comprising of six children which is a total of five boys and one girl.
Tekno was enrolled in music school at the tender age of 8 where he learned how to play the piano and guitar.
He has lived in many other States in Nigeria like Nassarawa, Kaduna, and Abuja.
Tekno Education
Tekno Miles got enrolled in music school at the age of 8 where he mastered piano and guitar perfectly.
He also attended Heritage School in Kaduna where he furthered his secondary school education.
He is not a graduate which he made known in his statement; “I no go school yet I count millions.”
Tekno Career
Tekno released his first song which gained massive airplay when he was first officially signed to K-money entertainment.
He then met with Ubi Franklin and Iyanya at an event in the year 2012 where he was advised to move down to Lagos to continue his music career for better opportunities which he did.
On moving down to the Nigerian mega and commercial state, Lagos, he then signed a recording contract with Made Men Music Group in the year 2013.
Tekno Has won some Awards as a credit to his career and some of them are Best New Act at the 2014 Nigerian Entertainment Awards, and Best Pop Extra Video at the 9th Nigeria Music Video Awards. Best New Act at the MTV Africa Music Awards amongst others.
