Nigerian Afro beat singer, Tekno Miles has brought down information that his colleague, Kizz Daniel paid him close to N1 billion for a feature.
A publication had shared a snippet from his alleged interview where Tekno spoke on his relationship with Kizz Daniel. He confessed that he joined on Kizz Daniel’s Buga with no terms of legal conspiracy and wasn’t waiting for anything in return. He noted that he has wanted to keep things private, but some level of appreciation sometimes, need to be talked about.
He declared that Kizz Daniel had given him 50% of every income he generated from that song and after his Biga concerts, he sent him close to a Billion Naira, which left him in disbelief. To top to it, he also received millions as his own part of the income gotten by Buga on streaming platforms.
Moreso ,he concluded the interview by presenting Kizz Daniel as a great guy.
“I got on Kizz Daniel’s Buga with no sort of legal agreement. I wasn’t expecting anything from him. Wanted to be silent about this but I think some levels of gratitude deserve to be spoken of. Do y’all know Kizz Daniel sends me 50% of every revenue he generates from that song? After his buga tour, he sent me close to a Billion Naira and I was already shocked enough by that move. He didn’t end up just there. Every month I receive millions as my own share of the revenue generated by Buga on streaming platforms… Kizz is a great guy I can’t lie”.
Showing his reaction, Tekno show it that he was never paid N1 billion for a feature. Moreso , he pondered on how he could be paid such huge amount when Kizz himself is not even worth a billion.
Remember that, sometime ago Tekno had thrown an indistinct shade at his colleague, Dammy Krane over his drama with Davido.
Tekno shared on Instagram, a photo of himself living his life to the best of it, giving out a caption opining that it is only broke people who screams on social media about money.
Back In 2022, Davido credited Tekno for changing his life and he promised to forever remain indebted to him for giving him a hit song.
His confession followed by Twitter personality, Daniel Regha laying criticisms on Tekno for writing songs for Davido, specifically one of his hit songs, “IF”. He noted that writing songs for the singer shadows his growth as he advised Davido to normalize writing down his lyrics and allow it come from the heart, because originality is absolutely everything.[ez-toc]
