Tems discussed her collaboration with the internationally renowned Beyoncé on her upcoming album ‘Reinassance’ during an interview with the New York Times.
During the interview, Tems disclosed that her team sent her a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) which she agreed to sign after receiving an invitation to collaborate with Beyoncé in Los Angeles.
“My team just messaged me like, ‘Yo, first of all, I have to send you something to sign. I was losing my mind. Like, What?!”
Tems’ collaboration with Beyoncé during their studio sessions led to the creation of the song ‘Move’, which is featured as one of the tracks on Beyoncé’s Grammy-nominated album ‘Renaissance’.
In addition to collaborating with Beyoncé, Tems has also worked with other famous international artists such as Drake, Rihanna, and Future.
Future featured her and Drake in his Grammy-winning song ‘Wait For U’.
During an interview, Tems discussed her highly anticipated first album called ‘Born In The Wild’, which is scheduled to be released in June 2024.
Tems said that the album’s lead single ‘Love Me Jeje’ was initially created during a casual freestyle session with her friends.
“It was just a state of bliss. Those are the moments that I love,” she said.
Tems recently gave a performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where she sang a combination of her single and the opening track from her self-titled album.
Fans are anxiously anticipating the release of Tems’ first full-length album, which she has described as a compilation of various life encounters that have shaped her into the person she is today.
