Nollywood Star, Nkechi Blessing has come to the defense of Prophet Odumeje, a popular clergyman and leader of The Mountain of Holy Ghost.

In an interview with Pulse Nigeria, she argued that his lack of fluency in English does not make him a fraudulent religious figure. Drawing from her personal experience with him, she attested that he is indeed a genuine man of God.

“Odumeje is a true man of God. I’m saying it here categorically. The fact that he can’t speak good English doesn’t make him a fake man of God”.

In January, Wakadaily reported that Nkechi Blessing shared her first encounter with Odumeje. The actress disclosed that she met him on a flight and even received a blessing from him.

She expressed that meeting Odumeje was the highlight of her flight experience, but also criticized the airline for downgrading her.

In November 2022, Yul Edochie revealed that Odumeje had promised to give him his highest power. Yul jokingly warned Nigerians to prepare for him in 2023 as he planned to obtain power from the controversial cleric Odumeje. He also stated his intention to use his powers to have a significant impact on Nigeria.

Upcoming actress, Sarah Martins, shared a dream where Odumeje passed on his authority to her and expressed her desire to free Yul Edochie from the grip of his second wife, Judy Austin, who has been subjecting him to online ridicule.

She said  how the once highly sought-after actor has now resorted to begging on TikTok.Unfortunately, she woke up before the dream could fully unfold.
