The movie ‘ỤNỌ’, by Ebuka Njoku, is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 17th

Ebuka Njọkụ, the filmmaker, revealed on Instagram that his newest film, UNO, will debut in theaters on May 17. The movie is expected to deliver a sincere portrayal of family and the concept of home.

Njọku stressed that ỤNỌ is not just a film, expressing his joy for its upcoming release and reflecting on over a year of commitment and effort.

“ỤNỌ is the Igbo word for Home. Although our film is funny and would leave you craving for love or wanting to call your loved ones, this is beyond entertainment. We made @uno_thefinfamily for every Nigerian family – to express the beautiful Imperfection of every family. I can’t wait for you all to see what we have made. ON MAY 17th – THE FEAST BEGINS 🥂, ” On Monday, April 22, 2024, he expressed in his Instagram post.

When ỤNỌ is released in theaters on May 17, viewers can anticipate immersing themselves in a heartfelt narrative that celebrates the timeless themes of love, family, and the essence of belonging.

The movie revolves around a peculiar young man who has been apart from his family for a decade. He decides to bring his fiancé home to formally introduce her, but this decision ultimately subjects both their relationship and his family to a challenging trial of resilience.

The talented cast includes Nkem Owoh, Jennifer Eliogu, Lorenzo Menakaya, Abayomi Towase, and Ojo Tomi.
