Once again, the controversial Nigerian artist Portable is causing a stir, and this time, he is slamming his collaborator, Davido, whom he recently shared a meal with.
It appears that Portable had a disappointing dinner date, as he went on Instagram Live to slam the singer.
He alleged that Davido gave him misguided advice when they met up, stating that despite Davido being signed to Sony Music, he advised him not to sign with the label but instead sign with Empire and receive an advance payment.
Portable emphasized that he is also striving for the same Grammy award that Davido is pursuing.
“You are signed to Sony Music, but you’re giving me bad advice in America to get signed to Empire & collect advance. The same Grammy you’re chasing is what I’m also chasing”.
A lot of people blast Davido for associating with the controversial singer, pointing out his tendency to never reconcile with others.

Wakadaily recently reported that Davido fulfilled Portable’s wish by taking him out to dinner at a fancy restaurant in Atlanta.
Davido even went a step further by gifting Portable a luxury sneaker and other items.
After the dinner, Portable accused Zlatan Ibile of trying to create tension between him and Davido.
He claimed that while they were together in Atlanta, Zlatan called Davido and warned him to be careful around Portable.
Expressing his disappointment, Portable warned Zlatan to stay out of his business.
Portable also clarified the situation regarding his featured song with Dammy Krane, who is considered a rival of Davido.
He pleaded with those who were trying to instigate Davido against him not to ruin their relationship, as he referred to Davido as his helper.
Portable’s relationship with Davido has been rocky over the years. In 2022, they had a falling out when Portable supported Davido’s uncle’s political rival.
Portable had endorsed Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC), while Davido supported Ademola Adeleke, his uncle and eventual winner of the election.
Davido was angered by Portable’s actions and unfollowed him on Instagram.
Portable blasted Davido for this, but their feud didn’t last long. Davido reconciled with Portable after he publicly apologized and Davido re-followed him.
