This confident statement is being made one week after the Nigerian lawyer pleaded for assistance from fellow Nigerians.
She expressed that she has become a well-known personality and therefore requires new housing and security, as her previous residence is no longer secure.
After facing severe criticism, she apologized to Nigerians, clarifying that she felt unsafe and feared being kidnapped, which compelled her to seek help.
She also said that those close to her believed she was giving away large sums of money, contributing to her anxiety.
Remember that two weeks ago, Vera gained a lot of attention after she shared her story at Dunamis Church about how God made her the only person in her family to graduate, which led to Pastor Enenche publicly humiliating her and accusing her of lying in his church.
This incident caused a lot of uproar on social media, and Pastor Paul Enenche apologized to her, explaining that he never meant to embarrass her.
Many people supported Vera, including gospel singer Lara George, who slammed the clergyman for looking down on her and said that his apology should be as loud as his criticism.
Sandra Iheuwa, Ubi Franklin’s babymama, also spoke out against the clergyman, saying that incidents like this are why she doesn’t go to church, and she degraded his role as a pastor.
Shan George also blasted the clergyman and showed support for Vera, saying that it’s one thing to not believe someone, but how you treat them is another. She sent love to Vera and acknowledged her efforts to improve her life.
However, actress Jemima Osunde, who initially defended Paul Enenche, changed her stance and apologized to Vera.
