Muslim critics have slammed the Nigerian Muslim community for honoring actress Mercy Aigbe with a new tittle.

The actress had taken to her Instagram page to announce that she has was given a new title by the Muslim community and reintroduce herself by the new title.

Many friends and fans had taken to her comment section to congratulate her.

However, this development didn’t sit well with some Muslim faithful as they have taken to social media to slam the Muslim community and the actress, noting how money now influences everything even religion.

They noted how this isn’t the Islam the Prophet left for them.

“Hmmmm, this is really not the Islam the Prophet left for us anymore. It’s all about money”.

Some of the actress’s fans tackled them as they questioned them about what was wrong with her getting honored.
