Tinubu @ 72: Nigeria will overcome its challenges

On Friday, President Bola Tinubu declared that Nigeria will overcome its obstacles as Christians celebrate the victory of life over death, symbolized by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

In addition to expressing gratitude to Nigerians for their efforts throughout the previous ten months of his presidency, he reaffirmed his commitment to leading the country toward “recovery and sustainable growth.”

Easter is “a significant moment and a glorious celebration of the triumph of life over death,” according to a statement signed by the President and Christian believers. Ajuri Ngelale is the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity.

“President Tinubu celebrates Easter with Christians; calls for unity and compassion,” reads the message.

Ngelale said Tinubu “The President warmly greets Christians in Nigeria and around the world on this occasion, emphasising love, sacrifice, and compassion as the patent themes of this solemn season.”

He added that leaders should take a strong lesson from Jesus Christ’s sacrifice for humanity.

He therefore pleaded on Nigerians to submit to altruism and compassion and to persevere in building a successful, unified country.

Tinubu “strongly commends Nigerians for the sacrifices they have made in the past few months for the nation to be steered to the path of recovery and sustainable growth,” said Ngelale.

“I have earned the honour of having my birthday fall on Good Friday. Therefore more reasons to promote peace amongst all Nigerians.

“May God guide and keep you and your families in good health, and lift your spirits,” he prayed.

“The President wishes Nigerians, Happy Easter,” the statement concluded.
