Tonto Charity Dikeh was born on the 9th of June 1985 in Ikwerre, Rivers, Nigeria. She was born to parents Mr. Sunny Dikeh who is her father and mother, Mrs. Veronica Dikeh as the third of five children.
She hails from Ikwerre descent in Obio Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State. Tonto Dikeh lost her mum when she was 3 years old, so her stepmother raised her and her siblings. She has a sister named Tatiana Dikeh and a brother named Charles Dikeh.
She grew up in Port Harcourt and obtained a BSc in petrochemical engineering from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology.

Tonto Dikeh’s journey in the Nigerian entertainment industry started in 2006 after taking part in a reality Tv show – The Next Movie Star in 2005. Before then, she used to be a car dealer in Port Harcourt.
Amaco Investments featured her with Patience Ozokwor in a music video at some point in her acting career. After the video, she released her music debut with two singles, Hi and Itz Ova.
After that, a famous Nigerian singer – D’Banj, signed her to his record label – DB Records, on the 13th of June 2014. She left DB Records in March 2015 because she decided to explore other business ventures.
