Nollywood actress and politician, Tonto Dikeh has shown solidarity with her colleague and friend, Iyabo Ojo over N500 million lawsuit from singer, Naira Marley.

Recall that Wakadaily had reported last week that Azeez Adeshina Fashola professionally known as Naira Marley had taken Iyabo to court upon his release from detention,  the same demanded a public apology from the controversial actress or risk facing legal proceedings which could amount to N500 million as damages.

In his lawsuit, Naira accused the mother of two of defaming him, alleging that the actress published false and malicious content about him on her Instagram page in September 2023.

Iyabo in a counter-sue filed a N1 billion counterclaim, noting how the singer through his lawyer never found it worthwhile to serve her the lawsuit privately, rather it was being disseminated online.

Calling it blackmail, the movie star is demanding N1 billion from the singer for deliberately misleading the public.

This development is due to the fight for justice for late singer Mohbad and Tonto Dikeh who is also in the front roll for the fifth for justice has taken to her Instagram page to show her support to Iyabo Ojo.

“We started together, we end it together.

Regardless” she said.

Some other of her colleagues like Ufuoma McDermott had poured praises on Iyabo, listing out her imperfections which is crowned by her good heart. She also stated that Iyabo Ojo always has her utmost respect now and always.
