Fast-rising Nigerian artist, Spyro, has expressed concern about the upcoming generation of parents.
In a lengthy post on his Instagram, he shared a personal story about how his mother’s prayers played a significant role in shaping his life.
Spyro recounted a time when his mother visited him at boarding school and was deeply upset by his situation. However, instead of giving up on him, she consistently spoke positive words into his life and prayed for him.
Despite facing numerous challenges as he grew older, Spyro’s mother never stopped encouraging him with positive affirmations and continued to pray for him.
Recognizing the power of a praying mother, he urged his fans not to underestimate it.
He expressed worry about the prayer life of the new generation of parents, emphasizing that troubles do not discriminate based on one’s social status or appearance.
“When I was a kid, I was far from greatness … I was the odd one, more like the rejected stone. I was a write off. I remember my mum coming to visit me in boarding school one day and she bursted into tears after seeing the mess I was BUT in all of these she would call me and say “I know you are great, God told me and many prophets have confirmed it and if God has said it, IT WILL HAPPEN”
I grew up and things got really tough but she never for once stopped telling me “SANMI , OGO E MA TAN KARI AYE “ and she will look at me and say “except it’s not GOD that said it” she held on to the prophesy constantly praying, even when I lost hope she kept #FAITH and SUDDENLY in 2023 out of nowhere everything change.

Last year, Spyro shared a story about how his mother’s pain motivated him to succeed, and he commemorated her birthday by showcasing his achievements.
In order to demonstrate his deep affection for her, he pleasantly surprised her with a brand-new vehicle.
By posting a heartfelt video capturing the emotional moment, he disclosed that he had made a childhood vow to purchase a car for his mother, and he successfully fulfilled that pledge.
