Two Kano college students drown in boat accident

On Wednesday, while attempting to cross the dam in a boat, two students of Audu Bako College of Agriculture, Makoda, drowned in Thomas Dam in Kano State.

According to the report, Saminu Abdullahi, the Public Relations Officer, Kano State Fire Service, confirmed the incident in a statement.

Abdullahi said the victims were identified as Abubakar Sanusi, 22, and Salisu Ado, 21.

Abdullahi also said that, Ibrahim, 21, their third colleague, was rescued alive and is currently receiving medical attention at Dambatta General Hospital.

He explained that Sanusi and Salisu were rescued unconscious and later succumbed to their injuries.

The PRO explained that the service had commenced investigation into the cause of the incident.
