South African singer and award winning star Tyla Laura Seethal, popularly known as Tyla, is making headlines on the Internet after making her Met Gala debut in a breath taking sandy dress, honouring ‘The Garden of Time’ theme.

Seems like the singer wasn’t  playing when she said, “They never had a pretty girl from Jo’burg, See me now and that’s what they prefer.” The singer definitely went up and left no disappointments with her first-ever Met Gala outfit.

A clip of the music star showing her beautiful dress was captured on social media ,as she took photos.

She revealed that her Sands of Time inspired dress was in line with the theme this year, The Garden of Time. The post’s caption read: “Tyla reveals her #MetGala look is inspired by the ‘Sands of Time.’”

The social media fashion police had affirmed that Tyla took the look to another realm and represented the theme. Meanwhile some made jokes about the Grammy Award winner being carried on the stairs, she still made it on the best-dressed celebs list. @lovinagbg said: “Mummy, she served so bad.”
