US church honors late singer Mohbad with their Christmas theme decoration

Late Nigeria musician, Ileriouluwa Oladimeji Aloba popularly known by his stage name as Mohbad, has been honored in the US.

A US church as part of their Christmas celebration paid tribute to late singer Mohbad by erecting a statue-like Father Christmas portrait of Mohbad.

This picture of the status has been making rounds on the internet and netizens have taken to the comment section to react to it.

One Tim AIG disagreeing with it wrote: “Not necessary”

While others commending the church wrote,

Thick And Bold wrote: “May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace and the bosom of the lord. Amen”

A Isha wrote: “My chest”

Mz Seun Funmi wrote: “Kai! He didn’t get to see all this love. Continue to rest on Moh”

Solo Blinkz wrote: “Imole will always live on”.

The singer was also celebrated in New York in October, to mark the independent day ceremony.

The Consul General of Nigeria in New York, Ambassador Lot Egogipa, made this known during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in New York, where he admonished Nigerians living in the U.S. to be hopeful about the future of the country and its leadership.

However this news didn’t sit well with many as they noted how no one paid attention to the singer when he cried for help before his untimely death.

The late Mohbad fame has continued to soar higher, since his death, with celebrities like American rapper Meek Mill even reacting to his death by appreciating the way Nigerians are fighting for him.
