Education
Before pursuing studies in Special Effects in South Africa, Uzee Usman obtained two degrees from the University of Abuja, one in Political Science and another in English Language. Additionally, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Media & Communications Studies from Iheris University in Togo.
Career
Uzee Usman started his career as a make-up artist in 2003. In 2013, he began making films and has produced successful movies in both Kannywood and Nollywood.
His film “Oga Abuja” won an award for the Best Hausa Movie in 2013, and “Maja” was named the Best Film of the Year (Kannywood) in 2014. He received an Honorary Doctorate Degree from iheris University Togo in 2021 to recognize his accomplishments.
