Former Big Brother Naija contestant, Ka3na, has reached out to popular singer, Wizkid, following his recent feud with Don Jazzy.
On Monday, Wizkid took to X-Platform (formerly known as Twitter) to throw shade at Ladipoe, an artist signed to Don Jazzy’s Mavins record label.
Ladipoe had mocked Wizkid’s controversial statement about hip-hop being dead, and a fan brought it to Wizkid’s attention.
In response, Wizkid indirectly insulted Don Jazzy by implying that he was only talking to influencers and not artists signed to record labels. This caused Don Jazzy to unfollow Wizkid on social media.
In her Instagram story, Ka3na reminded him that karma will eventually catch up to him. She pointed out that his actions have now set an example for those who will come after him on how to treat him.
“You have just showed the ones coming behind you how to treat you sooner. What goes around comes around”.
Likewise, Doyin David, a celebrity from Reality TV, made a comment about Wizkid, comparing Don Jazzy to the Jay-Z of the Nigerian music scene.
She further disclosed that anyone who tries to disrespect or undermine him is simply showing that they lack intelligence. She also emphasized that it is not solely about seeking attention or popularity.
popular Twitter user Daniel Regha also shared his opinion on the matter, expressing his dissatisfaction with Wizkid’s tweet.
Famous skit maker and content creator, Mr Macaroni, tweeted that Wizkid was wrong to mock Don Jazzy, whom he described as the most influential personality in African entertainment.
He highlighted Don Jazzy’s legendary status and his selfless support for various entertainers in the country, regardless of their fame.
Blogger Tunde Ednut questioned what Don Jazzy did to Wizkid and whether the Grammy-winning singer no longer respects the music executive.
He emphasized that Don Jazzy should be respected and held in high regard, as he is in a league of his own.
Cubana Chief Priest declared that Don Jazzy will always be respected as he is a mentor and a legend.
