Veteran Ghanaian actor Van Vicker has excitedly taken to social media to celebrate his 21th anniversary of his marriage with his wife Adjoa Van Vicker.
The actor took to his Instagram page, and he showed gratitude to God as he noted how marriage is a bed of throning roses with extremely lovely times and trying moments. However, in all moments ‘The Will’ is key.
Van noted that getting married to the ‘right’ person is critical (knowing the person substantially). Staying ‘in love’ is paramount (not just ‘loving’ your spouse.) And finally for me it’s ‘the desire’ to want to stay married (in the absence of abuse). The culminated effect of these 3 points may transcend those thorns in the roses,” he penned.
The Ghanaian actor made it known that regardless of the thorns, love is still a beautiful thing, and he has no regrets about being married and staying married, as he expressed how lucky he is to have his wife by his side all these years.
“Today is my 21st wedding anniversary.
Marriage is a bed of thorning roses
It has extremely lovely times and really trying moments.
In all moments, ‘THE WILL’ is key.
Getting married to the ‘right’ person is critical (knowing the person substantially).
Staying ‘in love’ is paramount (not just ‘loving’ your spouse)
And finally, for me, it’s ‘the desire’ to want to stay married (in the absence of abuse).
The culminated effect of these 3 points may transcend those thorns in the roses.
Pricky as they may be, however, the internal remedies are sufficient to let you move to the next day and the next and for years.
Regardless of the thorns love is STILL a beautiful thing.
I have no regrets about being married and staying married.
I pray for Grace to continue this beautiful struggle.
I am blessed to have my wife, Adjoa Van Vicker, by my side all these years.
I have known her for 30 years of life.
Happy anniversary to us”.
I am grateful to God.
Last year, Van Vicker shocked many when he celebrated his 20th anniversary. Sharing a photo of him and his wife, he noted how their journey began 30 years ago and now they are celebrating 20 years of being married. He described his marriage to his wife, as a blessing with no paltry sum.
