‘Why no marriage is worth your life’ Actress Shola Kosoko reveals

Nollywood actress Shola Kosoko, has taking out time to share her view on marriage and divorce.

The Yoruba screen goddess made he points known in a recent interview with her colleague, Biola Bayo, she took a stance on divorce, especially when it affects one’s life. She noted how when a woman is in a critical situation, she gets advice from different angles, but it is left for her to pick one.

She went on to stress her point using a Yoruba adage,she stated that women should be able to decide on their own while adding that no marriage is worth one’s life.

She said, “I would say that advice will come from different angles and advice will vary. There is a Yoruba adage that says ‘If someone faces you, you should face them too”. It simply means you can take A advice, take B advice but when it comes to a point, you should be able to decide”.

The daughter of veteran actor Jide Kosoko, Shola Kosoko has been married for over 10 years to Abiodun Abinna and their union has been blessed with three children – two girls and a boy.

Many have taken to her comment section to agree with the actress stance as the note that saving your life should be priority.
