Fans of the award-winning singer, Wizkid, have presented evidence to support him after he made a strong criticism towards music executive, Don Jazzy.
Earlier today, Wizkid expressed his dissatisfaction on X-Platform (formerly known as Twitter) by mocking Ladipoe, an artist signed to Don Jazzy’s Mavins record label.
Ladipoe had previously made fun of Wizkid’s controversial statement that hip-hop is dead, and a fan of Wizkid brought this to his attention.
In response, Wizkid took a swipe at Don Jazzy, suggesting that he was not interested in talking to someone signed to an influencer, implying that Don Jazzy was merely an influencer and not a true artist.
As a result of this statement, Don Jazzy unfollowed Wizkid on social media. To support Wizkid, his fans found evidence to prove that Don Jazzy is indeed an influencer.
They shared photos of Don Jazzy receiving awards for Music Influencer of the Year and Media Influencer of the Year from Pulse Nigeria in 2023.
Additionally, music producer Samklef defended Wizkid by stating that without him, artists like Davido would not have a platform, and Wizkid is the reason why many young people are pursuing music today.
A short while ago, Wizkid sparked a renewed dispute with his competitor, Davido, by posting a humiliating video of him on Twitter.
In response to a fan’s plea for new music, Wizkid shared a video of Davido pleading, instructing fans to beg him in the same manner Davido had been begging. Devoted fans of Davido have now taken to the X platform to mock and taunt him.
