Woman slumps, dies after hearing news of son’s death

The family of Christian Ugbede Abuka, has been thrown into mourning following the shocking news of mother and son’s death.

According to reports, a yet-to-be-identified woman slumped and died after hearing the news of son’s death, on his way home from NYSC camp.

The deceased identified as Christian Ugbede Abuka, was said to be involved in an auto crash while returning home from Kwara state where he had gone for his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

The elder brother, Joseph Abuka, who confirmed the report on his Facebook page said the accident occurred in Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State on Saturday, May 27.

He wrote, “It was a dark day in my family today. My younger brother, Christian Ugbede Abuka, was involved in a fatal accident on his way back from Kwara State for his NYSC documentation and he died, this resulted in his mother’s death. Nothing to say but to thank God.”
