Asake’s ex – girlfriend, Mystique, appears to be spending some time on her keyboard as she has been gaining popularity for a short while.
Mystique, after disclosing the cause of her split with Asake, has now shifted her focus towards religion.
A social media user advised her against utilizing the Islamic faith as a means to promote her music.
This statement was made in response to the caption that Mystique included in her post
“Happy end of Ramadan If May Allah answer all of our prayers & Ameen”
Mystique replied by asserting that her connection to the ‘divine’ is likely stronger than that of the netizen. She further advised the netizen to be concerned about the prayers she had missed and the insincere fasting she was engaging in, and cautioned against flaunting her religious beliefs.
The interaction between Mystique and the worried internet user escalated rapidly. It started with the netizen requesting Mystique to refrain from using Islam, but quickly escalated when Mystique implied that Muslim prayers were not genuine.
This was despite the fact that Mystique had previously shared a quote on her Instagram story which included a Muslim prayer along with a song. Thus, Mystique contradicted her own beliefs by claiming that Muslim prayers were fake.
Although the singer has not openly stated that she is a Muslim, her recent social media post and the prayer she shared while promoting her music strongly indicate her affiliation with the Muslim faith.
Prior to this, not much information was available about Mystique other than her previous relationship with Asake. However, her revelation about the reason behind their breakup has made her a popular topic in Nigeria. Additionally, due to her recent post, it is now widely known that she follows the Muslim faith, despite never discussing it openly.
While Mystique has been gaining attention due to her split from Asake, the Nigerian singer himself has been making headlines for his new hairstyle.
