Popular Nigerian singer Yemi Alade  celebrates her 35th birthday anniversary  today March 13th, and she decided to turn up in a red-hot dress.

The Afropop singer, took to her Instagram to show the girls how it’s done by posing in stunning pictures, the birthday girl looked gorgeous as she gave different angles of her outfit during her photoshoot session

In celebration of Yemi Alade’s birthday, she has achieved alot as a singer.

The 35-year old singer became popular with her hit song ‘Johnny, Alongside Nollywood heartthrob Alex Ekubo starring as the love interest in her music video.

Yemi Alade, After the release of her song ‘Johnny’, went on  continuously to put Nigeria, and Africa on the world map with songs and music videos that are rich in cultural heritage.

This act of hers earned her the nickname ‘Mama Africa’, which she might as well  deserved.

Apart from music, Yemi Alade is also known for her unique style of dressing, which mostly includes Ankara outfits with elaborate styles, and outfits that represent the African culture.

The “shekere” singer fully immersed herself into the ‘Mama Africa’ nickname, and has managed to create an entire niche for herself in a competitive industry.
