Young man set ablaze for allegedly stealing motorcycle in Abia

A young man identified simply as Ikechi was reportedly set ablaze on Sunday for allegedly stealing a motorcycle in Ndiokpo, Ihechiowa, Arochukwu LGA of Abia State.

It was gathered that Ikechi, who stole the motorcycle on Friday went to another community to sell it, however the buyer heard that they were looking for a missing bike she therefore raised the alarm.

A video circulating on social media showed how the young man was being brutalised by the youth and the vigilante members of the Ndiokpo community.

Ikechi, is said to be the only son of his parents, mrs Amechi Okwun.

WAKADAILY gathered that, similarly in the desame Community another young boy known as David was also accused of stealing an Iron rods use for construction of buildings, and was also beating mercilessly by the vigilante group who also was planning of setting him ablaze but he managed to escape according to reports.
