Nigerian singer and rapper, Crown Uzama, popularly known as Shallipopi has explained the important role Zlatan Ibile played in his music career success.
The ”Obapluto’ crooner said that, Zlatan gave his career “life” without asking for anything in return.
Shallipopi made this known via his Instagram story recently.
Sharing a photo of himself with Zlatan on a stage, he captioned the post, “Big shoutout to Zlatan Ibile. Bro literally gave my career life. He didn’t ask for anything in return.”
Shallipopi rose to limelight after his hit song ‘Elon Musk’ went viral in 2023, which peaked at No.1 on Apple Music, Nigeria Top 100.
He later remixed the song with Zlatan Ibile and Fireboy DML which spiralled his fame.
The singer had officially announced his decision to quit smoking.
Taking to his Snapchat, the 23-year-old wrote,
“Finally, I have quit smoking. Glory be to God.'”
