Fans of the Grammy-winning singer Wizkid are ecstatic after an old tweet from Don Jazzy resurfaced online, in which he declared himself an influencer.

On Monday, Wizkid went on a mini-rant on X-Platform (formerly known as Twitter), taking a dig at Ladipoe, a signee of the Mavins record label.

Ladipoe had mocked Wizkid’s controversial statement that hip-hop is dead, and a fan of Wizkid brought it to his attention.

In response, Wizkid took a shot at Don Jazzy, suggesting that he was never in conversation with someone signed to an influencer, implying that the record label manager himself was an influencer. This led Don Jazzy to unfollow Wizkid on social media.

Internet users discovered a tweet from 2020 in which Don Jazzy proclaimed himself as an influencer. In the rediscovered tweet, the founder of Mavins sent a message to Air Hostesses, encouraging them to become social media influencers.

The music executive disclosed that he had also transitioned into being a full-time influencer. He further stated his intention to seek guidance from social media influencers and content creators such as Mr Macaroni, Taaoma, and Lasisi.

“To all our beautiful air hostesses that can’t fly for now. Maybe try and get influencer gigs. Me sef don turn full time influencer. I will holla mrmacaroni, taaoma and Lasisi to coach me. Adjust. Adapt”.

Fans of Wizkid are celebrating and expressing their joy over a tweet that confirms their favorite artist’s honesty.

Wizkid Ayo Media commented, “Wizkid is always right at the end”.

Additionally, music producer Samklef defended Wizkid by revealing that without him, artists like Davido would not have a platform.
