500-Level Abia student commits suicide after taking hard drugs

A student of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike (MOUAU), Abia State, identified as Modestus Hyacinth Egbulefu, reportedly committed suicide after taking hard drugs in the Ikwuano Local Government Area of the State.

The 500- Level student of the department of Electrical Engineering, jumped from a 3 storey building at Groom Base Lodge, after taking some substances suspected to be ”Mkpulu mmiri.

According to reports, the incident which happened at about 9:40am at the lodge as other students were shocked at the incident and tried in vain to revivee him. Unfortunately Egbulefu died at the spot.

His corpse has been deposited at an undisclosed mortuary in the area.
