Guinness world record holder Chef, Hilda Baci reveals she auditioned for the Big Brother Naija reality show five times and wasn’t picked before her cook-a-thon.
Hilda made this known while on the Big Friday Show hosted by BBNaija ex-housemate Tacha.
The celebrity chef noted that she audition for the reality show while still planning her record-breaking attempt with the hope of being picked so that she can hold the cook-a-thon after leaving the show but she was never picked.
“I tried to get on Big Brother Naija for a while. I think I auditioned about four or five times. The plan for the cook-a-thon was still in the pipeline, so my goal was to go to Big Brother and then come out and do the cook-a-thon.”
She went further to state that her plans fell through because God had bigger plans for her and being rejected from the show only made her focus on her record-breaking attempt the more.
She said, “But I guess God just knew, he was like you know what, this is fine just focus on this, this is going to take a lot more from you.”
Hilda Baci is the current Guinness World record Holder for an individual with the longest hours marathon.
She cooked for Four days non-stop and after Guinness World Record went to her submitted evidence, she was awarded the award for cooking for 93hrs 11minutes due to a trimming error in her break time.
She has been making lots of weaves after the success of her cook-a-thon.
