Nigerian singer, Yemi Alade disclosed she was involved in a car accident in Spain on the 17th of August, 2023.

She made this known through her Instagram, expressing her profound gratitude to God for saving her life, she stated that she had an accident but sustained minor injuries, she also noted that the accident happened will she was on tour  around Barcelona and Benicassim in Spain.

In a video, she shared on her page, the singer’s broken nail which is the only noticeable impact she sustained from the accident could be seen, and her iPhone alert notifying her that she had accident, “It looks like you’ve been in a crash’. The singers was also seen in the video having her blood pressure taken by a medical personnel.

Yemi Alade also stated that she had suffered from exhaustion after performing on stage just seven hours after that she was involved in the auto crash on the same day.

Her caption read, “On the 17th of August, we were in a car crash, somewhere between Barcelona and Benicassim in Spain at 12:06(noon). I also experienced a minor medical emergency from exhaustion after performing on stage 7 hours after the incident on the same day.”

Not letting anything dim her spirit Yemi Alade stated that she still went for her show after party despite everything that happened.

“Somehow, I ended up at the “after party” (leave me o. my mind needed positive vibrations)Life is for the living… I didn’t want to put this out, but the devil had other plans, but my Jehovah jiray said NO! The blood of Jesus spoke for us. I only lost a nail, it all happened suddenly, Nothing is too sudden or complicated for God. His Grace is more than sufficient,” she said.
