Following the arrest of Prime boy a childhood friend of late singer Mohbad, his mother has stepped forward to plead on his behalf to Nigerians.

Prime Boy and Mohbad were not just friends; they were as close as family. Prime Boy’s mother regarded them as her own sons when Mohbad was alive, she emphasized on the deep bond between the two young men.

She went on to State that her son, Prime Boy, would never hurt Mohbad due to the strong bond they shared.

Recall that Wakadaily had reported that Prime boy was declared wanted by the Lagos State police command for failure to present himself for questioning and few hours after the declaration, Prime boy had turned himself stating that he never got an invitation for questioning from the police.

Prime boy has now been questioned by the police and in his statement, he had revealed that he witnessed the late singer having a heated argument with his wife on the day of his last show before his death, he also noted that in trying to resolve the issue between them he got hit by the late singer.

He has since been remanded in custody by the Lagos State police command alongside Naira Marley and Sam Larry and his mother has stepped up to plead on his behalf.

She had implored Nigerians to to exercise caution and withhold judging her son in a heartfelt plea as she affirms that her son is innocent.
