Nollywood actress Mary Njoku reveals that her husband proposed to her 4days after meeting her as she celebrates his birthday.
She stated that their love story began with an instant connection. She said her husband expressed his deep affection by stating that he was already in love with her and wanted forever with her.
The actress also reflected on the early stage of their marriage which she tagged humble beginnings. She revealed that they used to have their mattress on the floor, share a kitchen with five other staff, and lacked basic amenities like clean running water. She even recalled fetching water while tied in a towel.
”We fell in love. Started dating. And in 4 days, HE PROPOSED. ‘I am in love with you Mary. And if we cross this month, we will be together forever’ I didn’t know how to respond. 4 days was too early to be thinking of ‘forever’ | guess. But the guy get plans.
