Nigerian actress, Anita Joseph has expressed her disgust at the trending video of Davido’s aide, Lati assaulting his fans.
In the viral clip, the singer’s aide was seen assaulting two supporters of Davido who wanted to make a video with him.
One of the clip shows Lati throw a heavy punch on the fan for taking pictures with his boss at an event on Tuesday night. The core fan of Davido tried to move closer to the singer only for Lati to punch his face.
Another clip circulating show when Lati landed a heavy slap on another male fan who tried to reach the singer’s side.
Reacting via the comment section, Anita Joseph described the act as unfair.
She said, “This is very unfair. Wetin happen haba na. Shallom biko nu aramashiogri”.
Also skitmaker, Mr Macaroni expressed how saddening he was seeing the video as he described it as condemnable and dehumanizing.
he added that the change Nigerians needs must begin with us.
“This is sad and highly condemnable!!! There is absolutely no need for this assault. This is dehumanizing and I speak against it because I know exactly how this feels.
The change that we all seek must begin with us!!!”
In another tweet he urged fans to respect celebrities privacy, as he also called on celebrity to treat their fans with respect and dignity.
“Please, if you must take pictures with any of your favorite celebrities, kindly seek permission so that you are not seen as a threat. Respect is reciprocal.
We must respect the privacy of our celebrities and Celebrities must also learn to treat our fans with respect and dignity”.
