Nollywood actress Ruby Ojiakor recently caused mixed reactions by slamming some of her colleagues over the death of Junior Pope.
The Asaba movie star, who was a close friend of the deceased, took to her Instagram page to call out Baba Rex and Adanma Luke, the producer of the movie that caused his death and others.
Ruby pointed out that Baba Rex was using Junior Pope’s death for content on Instagram, while Adanma Luke was allegedly more focused on talking about how he begged her for a job instead of grieving him.
Ruby also said that she went to church to specifically pray for him.

Some people praised her for boldly confronting others, while others highlighted the irony of her engaging in the same behavior she is criticizing Baba Rex for.

Junior Pope tragically lost his life by drowning in the Anam River in Anambra State while coming back from a movie set on April 8th.
He was laid to rest in his hometown of Ukehe, Enugu State in May, with many celebrities in attendance.
Nosa Rex, better known as Baba Rex, celebrated his birthday in May, acknowledging that they would have celebrated together if he was still alive.
Adanma Luke expressed her trauma and guilt for not being on the boat with them and clarified that she had provided life jackets for her brother’s children.
She also addressed false allegations against her and emphasized her active collaboration with the families to provide financial support.
She blasted director TC Okafor for using Junior Pope’s death for personal gain.
