Media personality Ossai Ovie Success recently used the X platform to explain why certain men in Nigeria face difficulties in achieving financial success.
He disclosed that many men spend their money on pursuing women and ultimately end up spending a significant portion of their expenses on these women.
He provided a detailed breakdown of the estimated monthly expenditure that most men indulge in, amounting to a staggering 123,000 naira per month.
He also revealed that Nigerian women should respond to the question with utmost impartiality.
Many Nigerian women had different views on this matter. Some suggested that Nigerian men living abroad were more compassionate, while others disagreed and argued that Nigerian men in Nigeria were more caring. Some also mentioned that it ultimately depends on the individual man and is not influenced by their location.
He highlighted a common pattern in Nigerian culture, where numerous men tend to be attracted to women who are, in different ways, less successful than them, both financially and socially. Famakin, who is known for his straightforward manner, did not sugarcoat his words when discussing the possible drawbacks of such relationships, especially when it comes to dealing with financial difficulties in a marriage.
In order to emphasize his argument, Famakin decided to reveal a personal experience from his own childhood.
