Kano government appoints nine more special adviser

The Kano State governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, have authorized the appointments of more special advisers with other heads of government agencies.

As claimed by the press statement on Tuesday by the governor’s spokesman, Sanusi Tofa, those appointed include Prof. Ibrahim Barde, Special Adviser, Internally Generated Revenue (IGR); Dr. Abdulhamid Danladi, Special Adviser on Diaspora II; Bello Kiru, Special Adviser on Water Resources; and Yusuf Shuaibu Imam (Ogan Boye), who was reappointed as Special Adviser on Youths and Sports.

Others are Dr. Nura Shanono, who was moved from Special Adviser Water Resources to Managing Director, Water Resources Engineering and Construction Agency (WRECA) and Baba Umar, who has been moved from Special Adviser to Executive Secretary, Private and Voluntary Institutions Management Board.

The rest are Nasir Muhammad, who has been appointed Director General, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Aminu Na’isa, who is to serve as Deputy Managing Director (DMD), Kano Agricultural and Rural Development Authority (KNARDA), while Mukhtar Yusuf, who is to serve as Deputy Managing Director (DMD), Water Resources Engineering and Construction Agency (WRECA).

This appointments took effect immediately.
