Peter Obi, Atiku, Tinubu, Kwankwaso Issue-based Campaigns

Omobola Bolu Omeleme has urged all presidential candidates of the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar, Labour Party (LP) Peter Obi, and New Nigeria people Party (NNPP) Kwankwaso, to run issue-based campaigns during 2023 election.

She stated this while congratulating the aspirants for emerging as presidential candidates of their various parties.

Omolemec said “their emergence as flag bearers of their political parties was never a coincidence, pointing out that their humanitarian leadership precedence did earn them the victory, but insisted that running an issue-based campaign will help in ensuring electoral integrity.

“Let me call on the incumbent government to create a political ambiance that would generate a leveled plain ground for all candidates to compete equally ahead of the general elections,” Omoleme said while cautioning the presidential candidates to shun hate campaigns and strictly align with their party manifestos.

She further called on Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to increase registration centres to enable citizens to participate in the forthcoming election and also urged youths not to allow themselves to be used for political violent behaviour.
