Chude Jideonwo makes huge announcement as he bags new appointment in London School

Nigerian media personality Chude Jideonwo has revealed a huge announcement on his Instagram page.

The media personality, renowned for his in-depth interviews with celebrities, has announced his appointment as a Creative-in-Residence at the prestigious London School of Economics.

He described this development as “unexpected news that can blow one’s mind.” Reflecting on his journey, he attributed his success to a deliberate decision made years ago to focus on his work, trust in the universe, and never compromise on his values.

Notably, after completing his studies at Yale and Oxford, he made a conscious choice to decline applying for fellowships or residences, instead, waiting for opportunities to come his way based on the impact of his work, regardless of the outcome. This appointment is a testament to the power of dedication, perseverance, and allowing one’s work to speak for itself.

The media personality, filled with gratitude and humility, acknowledged the appointment as a profound affirmation from the Universe, silencing any lingering doubts. He expressed his deep honor and thankfulness for this new role, and his enthusiasm for collaborating with the esteemed faculty, students, and networks at the London School of Economics.

He stated that he looks forward to using this opportunity to bring the growth and development of the creative economy across Africa, fostering innovation, and empowering the next generation of creative leaders.

“So I have a big announcement thought they were going to wait until the more formal announcement, but two weeks ago, they let the cat out of the bag:)

I have just been appointed Creative-in-Residence at the London School of Economics.

The kind of unexpected news that blows your mind.

Many years ago, I made a decision that changed my life: Focus on the work, never hustle, and let the universe do the rest.

After Yale and Oxford and all of that, I decided I would no longer apply for any fellowships or residencies. I wanted only to be invited – based on the impact of our work. I was almost certain it would take about 10 years for any of that to happen (I mean, who do you think you are?), and I was comfortable with that consequence. I would focus on the work I had chosen.

And then, in the midst of inevitable doubt, the universe always sends a big message of affirmation.

I am honoured and thankful.

I look forward to collaborating with the school’s faculty, students and networks to accelerate the growth of the creative economy across Africa.

The work continues”.

Many took to his comment section to congratulate him on his new feat.

Mo Abudu wrote, “My darling Chude, I am so proud of you. This is awesome. Much love always

Kemi Adetiba wrote, “Congratulations”.

Mary Njoku, a accomplished entrepreneur, recently achieved a remarkable milestone by winning the Harvard University OPM64 Idol award, surpassing 170 successful entrepreneurs from 48 countries.

Just a day prior, she had penned a heartfelt note to her late sister, expressing her longing to share this triumphant moment with her. Despite the joy and pride that comes with this achievement, Mary’s victory is tinged with sadness, as she wishes her sister were alive to celebrate this surreal moment with her. This bittersweet experience highlights the significance of family and the impact of loved ones on our lives.
