Netizens are responding to a popular video featuring Kazim Adeoti, the husband of Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe, and his first wife Funsho Adeoti.

The couple, whose relationship was on the verge of collapsing after he married Mercy Aigbe, were seen at an event in Minnesota, United States.

In a widely shared video, Adeoti and a few other men were observed showering his wife with stacks of dollar bills, while she sat elegantly, clutching the money.

At one moment, Kazim forcefully confronted a man who was pelting his wife with money.

As anticipated, the viral video has sparked numerous online discussions, with many pointing out how the mother of four appeared unfazed by his company.

Remember that Funsho Adeoti’s nearly 20-year marriage to marketer Kazim Adeoti was in jeopardy when he surprised his wife by marrying a second wife, Mercy Aigbe.

Last year, Funsho Adeoti mourned the end of their marriage, revealing that their 20th wedding anniversary was supposed to be on February 15th, 2023.

However, she expressed gratitude for life and remained hopeful that everything would be okay.

To clarify the situation, Funsho explained that she and Kazim are not officially divorced but rather separated, which is why she ironically mentioned their wedding anniversary.

In 2022, she publicly called out her husband and Mercy Aigbe, giving them an ultimatum to remove all their photos from the house because she partly owns it.

Funsho also expressed regret over marrying him and vowed to tell the truth to the world.

Responding to her claims, Kazim denied them and stated that he built the house himself without any financial contribution from her.

He said that her only involvement was the furnishing she did, which he had reimbursed her for.

He also stated that Mercy Aigbe had contributed to the house’s furnishing as well.
