Not long after arriving in Nigeria, Adekunle Gold, a singer, went to see Khaid, a promising singer who has been in the hospital since April.

A video that is currently popular on social media shows Adekunle Gold standing beside the sick singer, offering words of encouragement and then shaking his hand firmly.

The singer, who appeared weak in bed, nodded in response to Adekunle Gold’s words.

The comment section was brimming with supportive remarks from both fans and the general public.

In April 2024, Khaid was urgently taken to a medical facility and admitted to the hospital due to reported internal bleeding.

A video that was shared on social media during that time showed him in critical condition, experiencing intense pain while receiving medical attention. However, a later update indicated that his condition had stabilized.

Khaid is currently signed to Neville Records, a music label owned by popular skit maker Sydney Talker, and rose to fame in 2022.

Moving forward to the beginning of May, fans and followers were relieved when skit-maker Carter Efe provided an update on Khaid’s health.

In a video shared on X, the singer, although still unwell, was seen slowly walking with crutches towards his hospital bed, with the assistance of two men. Efe disclosed that Khaid was on the path to recovery and improving. “Thank God Khaid is getting better,” he said.
