Adeleke absent as Oyetola, others participate in Arise TV debate 

Senator Ademola Adeleke, the candidate of the people’s Democratic Party (PDP) absent in the ongoing debate organisation by Arise Television on Wednesday. In the July 16 governorship election 2023.

Other governorship candidates participated in the debate, those present are: Adegboyega Oyetola of All Progressives Congress, Lasun Yusuf of Labour Party, Goke Omigbodun of Social Democratic Party and Akin Ogunbiyi of the Accord Party.

Nigerians have reacted to the absence of the PDP candidate Adeleke, some said probably because he is aware he couldn’t match up to to his contenders.

The four governorship candidate have highlighted their resume and told the audience the reason they should be elected.

Meanwhile, three candidates promised to create over 100,000 jobs through mining and agriculture.

The Secretary, Media Sub Committee of Adeleke Campaign Organisation, Olawale Rasheed, could not provide a reason why Adeleke was absent.
