PDP Primary: Sokoto Governor, Tambuwal Steps Down from Race endorse Atiku

The Sokoto State governor and presidential aspirant of the People Democratic Party, announced his decision in the presence of the delegates at the convention group Abuja on Saturday.

Aminu Tambuwal the former House of Representatives Speaker, said his decision was borne out of his desire to see more progressive nation which he believes the People Democratic Party (PDP) can deliver.

He also urged his supporters among the delegates to vote for the former vice president of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar.

He said “I have come to the conclusion to the glory of God Almighty, seeing millions of Nigerians suffering and the need for us to close ranks in the party and as one of the leaders in this party and also justle for power among aspirants “I have come to conclusion to step down from the race.

Atiku on his Facebook page thank Governor Tambuwal for stepping down for him.
