Popular American rapper, Rakim Allen, famously known as PnB Rock has been shot dead during a robbery at the Roscoe’s House of Chicken and Waffles restaurant in South Los Angeles.
According to reports, the 30-year-old rapper was having a good time at a restaurant with his girlfriend, who posted their pictures and location-tagged before the incident.
The police spokesman, Capt. Kelly Muniz, said “a suspect wielded a gun inside the restaurant and requested the rapper’s jewellery, in the process, the rapper was shot by the assailant.
“He shot the victim and ran out the side door to a getaway car and then fled the parking lot.”
“Muniz added that the victim was taken to a hospital and confirmed dead at 1:59 p.m.”
Nicki Minaj has taken to Twitter to console the deceased family, and also condemned the girlfriend who revealed their location.
She wrote, “After Pop Smoke, there’s no way we as rappers or our loved ones are still posting locations… He was such a pleasure to work with. Condolences to his mom & family”
The girlfriend who posted the photos and location-tagged had since deleted the post on her Instagram.
Meanwhile, the police are currently examining security video from inside the restaurant to identify the shooter and are checking surrounding businesses to see whether security systems captured any images of the suspect leaving on foot or in a vehicle.”
