APC marks N50million for Ondo governorship election forms

On Monday, the All Progressive Congress declared to start the sale of Expression of interest and Nomination forms by April 3rd for the Ondo State governorship election.

It was said that the Expression of Interest form will be sold for N10million while the Nomination Form goes for N40million.

Moreso, female applicants and disabled persons are given a privilege to only acquire the N10m Expression of Interest form while the Nomination form is free.

The National Organizing Secretary, Sulaiman Argungu, revealed this in a statement posted on the party’s official X platform.

He stated that  the state governorship primaries would be held on April 25, while the  election appeal to attend to complaints and contestation would hold on April 26.

As claimed by the national organizing secretary, the position taken by the party was in compliance with the Electoral Act 2022 as amended and relevant sections of the constitution.

He said, “In compliance with the relevant sections of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Electoral Act 2022, the APC hereby makes public its timetable and schedule of activities leading to the 16th November 2024 gubernatorial election in Ondo state as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC.”
