Former Big Brother Naija ‘Shine Ya Eye’ housemate Maria Chike Benjamin is expecting her first child with her man.
The reality star, who is dating a Dubai businessman, Kelvin Anene announced the good news on her Instagram page.
The new mother said that this new chapter is called blessed.
Flaunting her baby bump, Maria Chike wrote: “This chapter is called Blessed. With our hearts filled with so much love and happiness, we can’t wait to meet you”.
Recall that in October 2021, celebrity barman, Cubana Chief Priest had dragged Maria on Instagram for ruining his sister marriage.
Chief Priest said his sister gave up the marriage after discovering that her husband, Kelvin, sponsored Maria’s entrance into the Big Brother Naija reality show.
He added that his had gone to Dubai to visit her husband, who refused picking her calls and met Maria at his house wearing Kelvin’s T-shirt.

Maria Chike finally reacted to the allegation of snatching someone’s husband. She claimed she was not aware that Kelvin was married when they started dating.
She said: “I actually wasn’t aware whether or not he was married when he first started dating. What I am going to stand by and the gospel truth and I didn’t destroy any marriage. I have never and would never”.
“My Dear Nigerians, I understand we live in such a hypocritical world and everyone is a saint unless you’re in the public eye then your shi* stinks the most. I adore marriage and wish all those in a HAPPY marriage nothing but luck, I love and respect the idea of one man to one woman.
“I’m going to address this once and only this once. I’ve been quiet on the whole husband snatcher issue. I DID NOT ruin any home. My silence is for the best of so many people involved. That I haven’t said my piece doesn’t make me weak. I am respecting so many people involved and their privacy.
“And for the rumours of me sleeping with several married men, including a pastor , WE both laughed at it cause we literally breathe each other’s air day in day out and no room for dishonesty.”
