Beyonce’s mother set to divorce actor Richard Lawson after 8yrs

Tina Lawson, mother of popular singer Beyoncé reportedly filed for divorce from her second husband Hollywood actor, Richard Lawson after 8 years of marriage.

The 69-year-old mother of two filed the peperwork on Wednesday, citing the reasons for divorcing her 76-year-old husband is due to “irreconcilable differences”.

The duo said ‘I do’ in April 2015, after dating for two years. They do not have any kids.

Documents obtained by TMZ revealed that Tina Lawson asked the court to terminate its ability to award spousal support to her or Richard.

Rumours of their spilt have been making rounds on social media after the actors fans noticed that Tina was not present throughout the press tour for his latest movie, “Black Terror”, which was released last year.

Tina – born Celestine Ann Beyonce – had changed her name to Celestine Lawson when she married Richard, and currently wants to change it back to Celestine Knowles, the name of her ex-husband.

Tina was married to Mathew Knowles in 1980 and divorced in 2011, they have two kids; superstar singer Beyonce, 41 and actress Solange, 37.

She divorce her first husband after she discovered he had a child with his mistress, former Scrubs actress Alexsandra White.
