Billpoint CEO, Linus Williams Ifejika, popularly known as Blord, expressed shocked after Afrobeat singer David Adeleke, aka Davido charged him $5 million for an endorsement.

The cryptocurrency investor shared a screenshot he received from Davido’s team when he approached the singer for one year endorsement deal to his company.

Blord revealed that his budget was $250,000 (150 million) but him and his team was surprised when Davido’s management responded to his email that the artiste charge nothing less than $5 million (N3.7 billion) for a year deal.

“Hello Mr Williams, thank you for your email. Davido’s endorsement fee is $5m for a full calendar year and is subject to review at the end of the endorsement period. kindly let me know how you would like to proceed.”
