Bobrisky discreetly relocated to Kirikiri Prison

Idris Okuneye, a popular Nigerian crossdresser known as Bobrisky, has been discreetly relocated to Kirikiri prison following his recent sentencing.

The Nigerian Correctional Service has transferred Bobrisky from the Ikoyi Correctional Center to Kirikiri prison, as it has a larger capacity and provides enhanced security. This transfer is a routine procedure.

The source also clarified that the transfer is a routine process because Kirikiri has a bigger capacity than Ikoyi and for security reasons.

“It is procedural that he is moved to Kirikiri since it is an expansive prison compared to what we have here”, the source stated.

Wakadaily recently stated that Bobrisky was sent to a Correctional center for a 6-month sentence. The Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) decided to place him in the male section of the facility because he identified as a male during court proceedings.

Despite worries about his safety due to his gender identity, the Correctional officers assured the public that they would ensure his protection from any potential harm.

In a subsequent report, the NCos stated that upon thorough investigation, it was found that there was no evidence of Bobrisky undergoing gender or genital organ realignment, as his male biological characteristics remained unchanged.

Earlier this month, Bobrisky was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission on charges of currency mutilation and Naira abuse. He pleaded guilty in court and appealed to the judge for another chance.

He promised to use his platform to educate his followers about the proper way to handle money, and asked the judge to show him mercy. Unfortunately, the judge did not overlook his misconduct.

Celebrities such as Charly Boy, Yomi Fabiyi, Eniola Ajao, James Brown, Paulo Okoye, and others have expressed their support for Bobrisky.
