Bobrisky has been sentence to six months in prison without possibility of fine

Famous Crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, has been given a 6-month prison sentence with no possibility of paying a fine.

Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos handed down a sentence of 6 months imprisonment to him today, April 12, 2024, with no possibility of paying a fine.

It is already known that Bobrisky was apprehended by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission for purportedly mutilating currency and engaging in the misuse of the Naira.

During his recent court appearance, he admitted to the crime of misusing Naira and pleaded with the court and judge for leniency, asking for a second chance.

He promised to use his platform to educate his followers about the negative effects of spraying money and begged the judge to show mercy. Unfortunately, the judge did not excuse his actions and postponed his case until April 9th.

Actor Yomi Fabiyi expressed his support for Bobrisky, saying that he is thinking of him and praying for him. He assured Bobrisky that this difficult situation will pass and encouraged him to stay strong.

Paulo Okoye, who is in a relationship with Iyabo Ojo, made a heartfelt plea to the EFCC, acknowledging that over 2 million Nigerians, including himself, are guilty of misusing Naira.

Actress Eniola Ajao, who was responsible for the event that led to his arrest, expressed remorse for his arrest and showed her unwavering support for Bobrisky while pleading with the EFCC on his behalf.

Similarly, actress and skincare expert Simi Gold, who had previously been arrested and charged with the same offense, showered Bobrisky with affection. She encouraged her friend to stay strong and have faith, assuring him that he would come out of this situation stronger.

Renowned celebrity stylist, Luminee, also showed her love and support for Bobrisky by sending heartfelt wishes and assuring him that his reputation would remain intact.

Bobrisky’s colleague, James Brown, revealed that he had been unable to sleep or rest well since hearing the news of Bobrisky’s arrest. He advised Bobrisky to stay strong and expressed his sympathy for him.
