Bolaji Amusan, (born October 15, 1966)  professionally known as Mr Latin, is a Nigerian comic actor, comedian, filmmaker, director and producer.

His also the president of the Theatre Arts and Movie Practitioners Association of Nigeria.

Bolaji Amusan Early Life and Education

Bolaji Amusan was born and bred in Gbongan, the administrative center of Aiyedaade Local Government Area, Osun State.

He attended his Primary and Secondary School education in his hometown. There is no much information regarding his educational background despite that he’s doing well in his movie career.

He began his acting career in 1988, switched to comedy in 1991, and earned the name Mr. Latin because Akin Ogungbe, the director of the 1992 movie 50-50, mistook his French for Latin when he heard him speaking it.

Bolaji Amusan joined the Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners, now known as the Theatre Arts and Movie Practitioners Association of Nigeria, in 1989.

He is the CEO of Mr. Latin TV and the Mr. Latin Foundation and has produced more than 40 films, usually comedies.
