Early Life and Education
Chigul was born in Lagos to Igbo parents.She completed her primary and secondary education in Lagos, Nigeria, attending Air Force secondary schools in Jos and Ikeja. After three months at Abia State University, she left to study Criminal Law at Delaware State University, but later switched to French Education. She spent twelve years in the United States before returning to Nigeria and is fluent in five languages.
Career
She started as C-Flow but became famous as Chigul, known for her strong Igbo accent. Chigul gained popularity with her viral song “Kilode” in Nigeria. Although her marriage ended without children, she has twelve characters in total. She has been interviewed, given a TEDx talk, and appeared in the film “Road to Yesterday.” She was also featured on Falz’s single “Karishika” and received the “Comedienne of The Year” award in 2014.
